Job Overview:
The IT Enterprise Application Engineer will be responsible for the administration of Enterprise Applications Systems of the company. The Enterprise Application Engineer position plays a vital role in the installation, configuration, administration and maintenance of several enterprise applications within the application portfolio (mail, Accounting, HR, shared folders, ERP, DWH, BI and reporting).
This position’s responsibilities include installing delivered application software, configuring the software to work on the hardware and database environments, preparing the application so that the functional leads and IT staff can begin the user configuration and testing, performing application maintenance and upgrades and migrating any application changes throughout the application development lifecycle.
Job Major Requirements:
- Experience installing enterprise application systems
- IT technical application problem solving experience
- SAP experience required
- Good knowledge of SaaS implementation and management
- System administrator experience using exchange mail or web/applications solutions.
- Good understanding of change management, configuration management & fault management
- Project Management Certification preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to support 24×7.
- Good written and oral English language skills

- Good to have knowledge of UNIX, Oracle/SQL, large databases
Job Duties:
- Install and configure new Enterprise applications, modules, upgrades, and maintenance packs.Install and configure new modules. This includes managing the Enterprise Applications software
- Monitor and maintain the health of Enterprise Applications. This requires research on any reported issues
- Additionally, this requires monitoring technical forums for new “tips and tricks” and possible new technology that should be implemented
- Assist and support projects and initiatives by rebuilding/cloning the test environments, building stress testing plans, and monitoring application performance during testing for Enterprise Applications
- Manage and maintain all application development migrations to the production environments
- Maintain a broad knowledge of technology, equipment and/or systems. Keep abreast of technical developments and information system trends by self-study and participation in courses, seminars and conferences
- Provide technical leadership within the Application Development and support team
- Document the procedures of the critical processes of the Enterprise Applications
- First point of contact for Escalations and Engage with Vendor for critical issues
- Troubleshoot and perform Root Cause Analysis of all trouble tickets
- Other project assignments as needed, which apply to the related technical skill set
