About Us:
Welcome to Afrimax Uganda Ltd.  We are a newly launched ISP offering quality 4G wireless broadband Internet services to companies and households in Kampala. In future we will extend our network and service to other parts of the country.

We are part of the larger Afrimax Group with ISP operations in other African countries.

Job Overview:
The Outdoor Sales Co-ordinator will be responsible for managing and supporting the team of direct sales persons working in different locations. The desired candidate will ensure that the team meets its KPIs and the required standards and measures so as to meet the set goals. The job function involves improving performance and maintaining standards in service excellence through workforce scheduling, supervision, coaching and training of the direct reports.

The main objective of the Outdoor Sales Co-ordinator is to ensure that all sales persons meet the set sales targets.

Job Major Requirements:

  •     A bachelor’s degree in a business–related course
  •     Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Sales position
  •     At least 2 years’ experience in a supervisory position
  •     Excellent people-management, motivation and team building skills
  •     Excellent written and oral English language skills
  •     Highly proficient in all MS Office applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  •     Prior experience working in a similar position will be an added advantage
  •     Reporting skills
  •     Willingness to work long hours as and when required

  •     Self-driven with the ability to motivate subordinates
  •     Customer and service oriented
  •     Management skills
  •     Excellent communication and presentation skills
  •     Ability to plan, prioritise, monitor and take decisive action
  •     Possess a strong performance and results orientation
  •     Professional image/visibility

Job Duties:
  •     Coach, counsel, recruit, train and discipline the sales persons
  •     Evaluate on-the-job performance for direct reports
  •     Ensure that his/her team is up to date with the company’s product offerings
  •     Organize special and outdoor events
  •     Draw up and agree route plans for the direct sales staff
  •     Maintain the Afrimax Group brand in all interactions with customers
