About Us:
The Ministry Of Health has received funding to implement the Uganda Sanitation Fund Programme which will play key roles in realizing its institutional mandate.
Job Requirements:
- The ambitious candidate should be a holder of a Bachelors' degree in environmental health sciences, engineering, social sciences, project planning and management or other relevant fields.
- A minimum of three years’ experience in the relevant field
- Extensive knowledge and experience of local government systems and planning processes and field experience in the WASH sector are required.
Job Duties:
- Support the Sub grantees in preparation of workplans and budgets
- Technically support field activities of sub-grantees
- Monitor and support sub-grantee activities
- Quality assurance of work outputs of the sub grantees
- Responsible for verification of results
- Support Sub-grantees: conduct capacity building of lower local government level.
- Participate in the review of sub-grantee proposals
- Actively participate in detailed capacity needs assessment
- Conduct capacity building of sub-grantees to meet the skill requirements for programme implementation and management.
- Compile and send progressive reports
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Technical Assistants.
