Job Overview:
The Promotions Manager will steer the development of the national promotions strategy for the business and guide its implementation to maximise sales and achievement the business numbers. He/she will also co-ordinate the creation, targeting, implementation and evaluation of the UBL national promotion programme while analysing competitor activity strengths and weaknesses and propose corrective action.

Job Requirements:
  • Atleast 5 years’ experience in brand management, trade marketing and marketing support.
  • Prior experience implementing revenue marketing strategies and programs
  • Experience developing strategic and business case documents
  • Experience in Monitoring and evaluation
  • Good problem analysis and decision making skills
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent Interpersonal effectiveness and teamwork
  • Good Creativity and innovation skills
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Duties:
  •     Oversee, lead the development and implement sales promotion policies, programs and initiatives to maximise the profit of organizational sales
  •     Research, evaluate, recommend and implement initiatives to enhance the market positioning of the entire UBL product portfolio
  •     Design and develop the annual and quarterly promotions calendar for the business
  •     Develop and monitor budgets for the promotional campaigns to ensure utilization is as planned and ROI is maximised.
  •     Identify and build strategic networks and alliances to support UBL promotional campaigns
  •     Carry out reviews with the sales and marketing teams and manage the evaluation of promotions to identify issues, assess effectiveness and exploit future improvement opportunities
  •     Generate new innovative promotion mechanics to reach targeted consumer segments
  •     Coordinate the ordering, delivery and distribution of promotion support materials, sales
  •     Ensure compliance and adherence with safety requirements at the work environment.
