Job Requirements:
- A Bachelors degree in Engineering, Social Sciences or Law
Experience
- 3-5 years experience working with national content
- Indepth knowledge of national content regulations and requirements
- Excellent understanding of Oil and Gas operator's activities,policies and strategies.
- Good knowledge of Project Mangement
Skills
- Excellent negotiation and mediation skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- High level of IT proficiency ( Microsoft Office : Powerpoint,Word,Excel)
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
Job Duties:
- Participate in the definition of the National Content Plan of the affiliate and coordinate its implementation and follow up.
- Monitor the suppliers commitment and achievements in close collaboration with Contract & Purchasing department and technical entities
- Continously follow-up of the National Content regulations and policies in close collaboration with the legal department. Ensure that the affiliate is always compliant with the National Content obligations.
- Coordinate with the partners all National Content initiatives for the Lake Albert project.
- Participate as required in external presentations on National Content with stakeholders and GoU.
- Propose and manage the national content budget
- Coordinate with the Environment and Social Affairs department all National Content initiatives related to Local communities and ensure they are in line with the National Content plan
- Develop capacity development initiatives for the Company and project the Company's image positively with respect to National Content practices.
- Update Management on the Directives/Bill/Laws/Regulations relating to National Content
