Job Title:    Project Manager; Rehabilitation Programme
Job Location:    Jinja, Uganda
Employer:    Busoga Trust UK
Reports to:    Uganda Country Manager & Executive Director
Salary:     £1000/month (including accommodation and Health Insurance in Uganda).

About Us
The Busoga Trust is a UK based water, sanitation and hygiene NGO operating primarily, but not exclusively, in Uganda. Started in 1982 it has constructed over 2000 water sources in East Africa, reaching a million plus beneficiaries. The Busoga region is where the Trust derives its name, where it started work and where it’s main base of operations continues to be. The Trust takes its name from the Diocese of Busoga in Uganda. In 1979, the then Bishop, Rt. Revd. Cyprian Bamwoze set up a development programme with the aim of bringing improved prosperity and hope to the people after years of political turmoil and anarchy. His appeal to contacts in the UK for support led to the foundation of the Trust in 1982. The Busoga Trust provides sustainable access to safe water, improved sanitation and comprehensive hygiene & health education to the communities in rural Uganda.

Through this work, we hope to lift some of the burden of disease from the shoulders of the rural poor, allowing them to build  healthier, more prosperous communities.
