Job Overview:
Dispense drugs to HIV and PHC clients

Job Requirements:
• Diploma in Pharmacy Technology
• More than three years of working in clinical setting of which two should be working with an ART setting and good experience of working directly with clients on ART.
• Good oral and written knowledge of Luganda
• Excellent computer knowledge
• Proven ability to work in a busy environment and under minimum supervision

Job Duties:
• Work with supervisor to maintain accurate records for the drugs ordered and dispensed on daily basis and account for all drugs handled in the pharmacy
• Evaluate the appropriateness of the medical prescription, dispense the medication to the patient and counsel them on the proper use and adverse effects of medications
• Work with supervisor to plan, quantify, forecast and make orders for the pharmaceutical products and supplies.
