About KCB:
Kenya Commercial Bank (Uganda) (KCB Uganda), is a commercial bank in Uganda. It is one of the commercial banks licensed by the Bank of Uganda, the central bank and national banking regulator. In November, 2007, the first branch of KCB Uganda opened in Kampala, Uganda's capital city, following licensing by the Bank of Uganda, the national banking regulator. Since then, the bank has opened fourteen more branches in the country. KCB Uganda is a 100% subsidiary of the KCB Group.
Job Overview:
The Incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing high impact communication and Marketing strategies to build a sustainable corporate image and reputation of the KCB Group brand.
Job Duties:
- Develop & implement marketing plan and strategy in line with business plan.
- Manage and oversee all communication channels, media in terms of content, publication and circulation.
- Develop and implement internal marketing and communication programmes.
- Managing Corporate Communications, Public Relations and al publicity initiatives.
- Oversee the entire Market Research process as well as business intelligence.
- Manage all third party suppliers and Marketing Services Agencies.
- Develop and implement annual KCB Foundation Corporate Social Responsibility Agenda and stakeholder engagement.
- Responsible for the identification of business relevant sponsorships & strategic partnerships and manage execution.
- Take lead and manage the teams operating in the Marketing unit while ensuring adequate and relevant training, leadership development and performance management of the unit’s staff
- Coach, motivate, mentor and inspire the marketing team towards excellence as expected of al team members.
Job Requirements:
- A degree in Mass Communication or business with a bias in marketing.
- Possession of professional qualifications in marketing such as CIM.
- At least five years' experience in Marketing and at least 3 years' experience n marketing management.
- Past exposure and experience in developing and supporting business strategy is essential
- Demonstration of possession of up-to-date relevant marketing skills
- Possess a high level of business acumen
- Possess the ability to display orientation to market dynamics and profit orientation;
- Excellent track record in delivering results.
