Job Description:
Operating since July 2011, EFC TANZANIA M.F.C LIMITED provides financial services to micro, small and medium size enterprises (MSMEs) and is the first deposit taking microfinance institution to be licenced and regulated under the Bank of Tanzania’s Microfinance Company Charter.

The purpose of the Entrepreneurs Financial Centre (EFC) is to provide increased access to specialized financial services for entrepreneurs while contributing to wealth creation, improvement of living conditions and development of the Tanzanian private sector. Owned by international and local investors, EFC Tanzania is distinctive in its emphasis on local development through a collective ownership scheme.

Job Requirements:
• Applicants should have financial services experience with the following general profile:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Banking, Commerce, Finance, or Marketing.
• 1 - 3 years’ experience in Housing/SME’s Loans will be an added Advantage.
• Strong people/relationship skills with a customer service and teamwork orientation.
• Action and results oriented with good time management and analytical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Kiswahili.

About the Job:
One Acre Fund is seeking a Microfinance Partnerships Director. S/he will be responsible for leading organization's work to help bring together other organizations with experience in agriculture microfinance. S/he will also help form an association of these organizations, develop core principles, and develop structures to incentivize other organizations to enter agriculture microfinance. Though Nairobi is the preferred job location, working from a major European city is possible.

Job Duties:

•     Build one-on-one relationships with worldwide microfinance leaders and other organizations:
•         Travel frequently within East and West Africa in particular;
•         Leverage organization’s existing relationships to discover new relationships;
•         Build real relationships with some of the most effective organizations in the world.
•     Help to build the overall agricultural finance movement:
•         Develop a multi-year strategy for movement-building;
•         Promote core principles that distinguish agriculture finance from the regular microfinance movement (e.g. asset finance, training, retail of seed, and fertilizer);
•         Bring together other organizations with experience in agriculture microfinance.
•     Explore the eventual possibility of operational partnerships:
•         Work closely with organization core operating staff, help to determine partnership strategy;
•         Write MOUs and take the lead on communicating with the partner;
•         Continue to be involved strategically, after organization staffs an internal operations staff to the partnership.

Job Requirements:

•     Past microfinance/financial access experience or BoP business experience;
•     Strong business mind who understands operations;
•     Experience working in frontier environments and forging successful operating partnerships;
•     Demonstrated experience building and managing relationships;
•     Excellent communications and presentation skills;
•     Ability to travel extensively, up to 30% within Africa and other international destinations;
•     Language: English required.

As part of the financial sector reform, Tanzania Postal Bank was established by the Tanzania Postal Bank Act No.11 of 1991 as amended by Act No.11 of 1992. Tanzania Postal Bank (TPB) seeks to appoint dedicated, self-motivated and highly organized Senior Manager Procurement (1 position) to join the Procurement Management team based in Dar es Salaam.

Job Duties:

•     Prepares and updates procurement plans in respect of procurement of goods, no-consultancy services, consultancy services and works.
•     Guides user departments on the preparation of corporate procurement plan to ensure its implementation is in line with the approved corporate Annual budget.
•     Prepares bid documents for procurement of goods, works, non-consultant
•     services and disposal of Assets as per format issued by PPRA.
•     Ensures that respectively monthly information on implementation of procurement plan are prepared for the Tender Board, management, user functions and other stakeholders
•     Ensures that minutes of Tender Board meetings are timely prepared.
•     Raises purchase orders when relevant approval has been granted
•     Maintains list of approved Suppliers; Service providers and contractors.
•     Maintains proper records and reports pertaining to purchases.
•     Follows-ups on purchases goods and services to ensure their timely delivery is in accordance with the terms of contracts
•     Provides inputs to tender evaluation and review of tender evaluation reports.
•     Liaise with Directorate of Finance to ensure all issued LPOs issued are paid timely and at the end of the year there are no pending LPOs as per financial regulations
•     Performs any other duties as may be assigned by your superior from time to time.

Job Requirements:

•     A Bachelor Degree/ Advanced Diploma in Materials Management
